System Description
The Foust 160DT Desk Top Air Purifier with Pre-filter is manufactured with no plastics and no glues. The all-metal construction prevents it from absorbing odors or off-gassing volatile organic compounds like plastics.
The Foust 160DT Desk Top Air Purifier with Pre-filter contains 3 lbs. of activated carbon mix and controls particles with a HEPA rated at 0.1 micron efficiency. Because it has performed so well in independent lab tests, the Foust 160DT Desk Top Air Purifier with Pre-filter is used & recommended by allergists & environmental doctors nationwide. Its very quiet operation can be used in homes, bedrooms, classrooms, offices etc… (Decibel rating is 16 @ 3 feet.)
With a decibel rating of 16db @ 3 feet, the Foust 160DT Desk Top Air Purifier with Pre-filter is very quiet and can be comfortably used in homes, bedrooms, classrooms, offices, or anyplace where loud operating noise is unwanted.

Cleaning
FOUST ADVISES TO NOT USE WATER OR WET CLEANERS TO CLEAN THE AIR PURIFIER. USE ONLY DRY CLOTHS OR BRUSH/VACUUM METHODS TO CLEAN THE MOTOR/BLOWER OR CARTRIDGE EXTERIOR.
PREFILTER OPTION
If you have severe reactions to contaminants, or even if you just want an additional level of protection to clean your environment, consider adding an optional Alpha-Stat pre-filter dust attachment to your Foust Air Purifier.
With this pre-filter option even more submicron particles or contaminants can be removed from any environment including all types of asbestos, all types of smoke, pollen, bacteria, dust, mold, spores, and animal hair – even chemicals and fumes like ozone, and formaldehyde.

Filter Change
Foust recommends changing the Foust 160DT Desk Top Air Purifier with Pre-filter filter cartridge every 6-9 months when used in typical indoor air quality.
Filters are easily changed with no tools needed.

* NEXT WAVE RETURN POLICY
While it is rare that a customer chooses to return a Foust product, Next Wave policy states that customer must notify Next Wave in sufficient time to notify Foust within 20 days of Foust invoice date for Foust return authorization. Foust charges a 10% re-stocking fee. No original shipping costs are refunded. Next Wave will issue a credit (less the Foust restocking and Next Wave shipping fee) after Foust confirms receipt of the returned item in re-sellable condition. Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs and is liable for any lost or damaged products during shipping. Next Wave highly recommends that customer coordinates with their shipper to insure returned items for their full retail value.
